This mahogany chest of drawers is a reproduction of an old southern piece, circa 1770.  It's an exact reproduction of the original antique. 

Bracket feet, quarter-round fluted columns and a chamfered lower edge, add charm to this chest of simple lines.  Brass bale handles.

This is one of the oldest of the Williamsburg reproductions.  A very rare find, probably made only in the late 1930's to mid 1940's.
