The CW56 Highboy was made in the 1940s and is an exact reproduction of the original American antique, circa 1735, Queen Anne.

This chest is one of the rare Colonial Williamsburg reproductions made of walnut. The lower section of this chest is distinguished by acorn drops and a deep stepped ogee arch flanked by shallower ogee arches. Colonial Williamsburg later produced an adaptation of this chest, WA1062, made of mahogany.

Included is the original Colonial Williamsburg registration certificate, #41 in the name of the Colin Company, copyright date 1938.
