Mahogany with boxwood inlay.  Revolving top with eight drawers, each inlaid alphabetically.  Octagonal top, hand-turned, hand-carved fluted base with hand-inlaid boxwood letters on each drawer and compartments.  This table was authorized by the Thomas Jefferson Memorial Foundation Inc. to be reproduced.  The original of this table was used by Thomas Jefferson for filing purposes and stands in the Monticello library today.
